The Chairman gave the charge while addressing press shortly after the passing out ceremony of the Corps in Lokoja.
He felicitated with the young Corps for the successful completion of their training, describing it as qualitative, realistic and tailored to meet the contemporary security challenges of the country.
Hon. Abdulraheem said, “The drive as mandated by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, is to increase our strength and have more feet on the ground in addition to all the things we are doing , he said ” And he has provided all the resources for this.”
The Chairman, called on the new officers to brace up for the task ahead of them, adding that, many of them would be subsequently deployed to support various internal security operations.
Speaking further, the Executive Chairman, averred that contemporary security challenges demand that the passing out Corps ensure that professional tenants and core value imbibed on during the course of training should impact positively on their operational tasks and other assigned duties.
Stressing that their value addition must be felt in their various deployments, after passing out. Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe, urged the officers to shun all forms of social vices that could derail or impede their avowed service to their fatherland.
