During his visit to the office of the Commander,12th Brigade Nigeria Army in Lokoja, Umar assured that his office will provide all necessary assistance to aid the Nigeria Army in carrying out their duties seamlessly.
This pledge aligns with the trust fund’s mandate to provide financial resources and support to security agencies operating in the state.
The Kogi State Security Trust Fund was established to facilitate the acquisition and deployment of security equipment, materials, and financial resources for effective security management.
Major General Oluremi Ayobami Fadairo, appreciated Umar’s visit, acknowledging it as a testament to his dedication to duty.
Fadairo also expressed gratitude for the funds provided for refurbishing operational vehicles, promising a strong synergy between the trust fund and security agencies.

Fadairo highlighted the challenges of securing Kogi State, which shares borders with 9-10 states, making it a hectic task.
However, with the right resources, he believes crimes can be reduced to the barest minimum. He also emphasized the need for assistance for casualties, particularly those affected in the line of duty.
The Director of Administration, Alh Ahmed Abdulkarim, noted that the trust fund provides financial assistance to officials affected in the line of duty, as well as refurbishing operational vehicles and logistics.
This underscores the trust fund’s commitment to supporting security agencies and personnel in their critical work.
The visit by the Executive Chairman is a clear indication of the trust fund’s readiness to collaborate with security agencies to ensure the safety and security of lives and properties in Kogi State.
